German Politicians Issue Six Theses to Create Secular Germany Independent of Christianity

Christian Lindner, leader of the FDP party, has issued ‘Six Theses in Favour of an Integration Model for Germany’ which seeks to reject Germany’s Christian heritage and culture.

All over the world Secular Humanists, Atheists, Liberal Socialist Progressives are on the move in a war against Christianity, the church, the bible and Jesus Christ. Looking at church history in regard to persecutions of bible believing Christians, and the modern persecutions since the 1960’s in communist nations, [Cuba, China, Russia, Bulgaria, Romania etc] What we are seeing of a truth in western Christian nations is mild, it is weak so that we should not be troubled in word or in deed in our obedience to Christ’s command to preach the gospel to every living creature while it is light and we live yet in the day. A good prayer in this day is to pray for all boldness, for all to many are filled with imaginary fears. If the powers are to be held back in this evil gestation period we live in, we need to bring as many of the great and small to the feet of Jesus Christ. Many times when people say shut up, I don’t want to hear any more – they are really saying: “Tell me more” “Convince me” as they are coming under conviction and are otherwise being affected by your words.

On The Subject of Witnessing

Teaching on this subject is poor. One evangelist asks people: Does your God love you?” This is a very good question that actually gets to the heart of the Gospel. Many argue God and scripture, which is altogether wrong. Playing bible baseball; just pitching out passage after passage in some hope that something will stick is a lousy approach and not at all what Christ had in mind when He said: “Thou Shalt be Witnesses unto ME . . .”

Witnessing was never meant to be an exercise of beating people over the head with the bible, witnessing was never meant to be confrontational – it can become so as demonstrated in the Gospels and the book of Acts. Witnessing is not to be an “In Your Face” contest of wills where one proudly and arrogantly seeks to be “The Winner” and defeat and crush his opponents. There have been public debates that are public spectacles that do nothing for Jesus Christ of the Kingdom of Heaven. Rather these things are works of the flesh that glorify men and ministries.

Thou Shalt be Witnesses unto Me – Witnessing is when a believer that has been touched deeply by Jesus Christ speaks of that which they have seen and heard of the Lord. We are to witness of the personal wonders, the personal glories, and the personal mercies that Jesus Christ hath wrought in us.

Revelation 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Testimony of Jesus is one’s personal testimony of Jesus Christ. Of how you came to the feet of Jesus, of how that is different that Churchianity, and of the Glories, Wonders, and Mercies of Jesus Christ as you have continued in Christ. Yes there is room here for scripture as your words as a disciple of Jesus Christ should naturally be laced with the word of God, as well as the Joy of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

One’s salvation is to be a living breathing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Father – It is from this deep vital personal relationship that the light of Jesus Christ comes into our life – from which we receive light, revelation, and knowledge of God as the Holy Spirit becomes active in our lives as teacher and guide.

The lack of Jesus Christ having shined into your heart individually and personally, regardless of how religious and holy one may think they are is based upon a earthly knowledge in which men walking in darkness and their own council end up as unwilling participants of the blind leading the blind.

If one finds that they do not have the kind of personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the Father that we are speaking of here, by humbling one’s self and reaching out to God in prayer and meditating upon the word of God – you can on your own come to a knowledge of the truth and enter into the light and sunshine of God.

Christian Lindner argues that the German constitution should be ‘independent of religion or of personal religious convictions because people who are neither Christian nor Jewish could feel ‘ostracised by Judaeo-Christian words and formulae.

‘Some politicians speak of a lead culture and of a Christian-Jewish heritage … but in future we will require different models. I am in favour of a republican integration model. It doesn’t matter where someone comes from but where they want to go and that they adhere to our rules,” Mr Lindner told the Essen-based daily, the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung.

The secularists have been sharply criticised by the German Bishops’ Conference and leading conservatives. The bishops’ conference spokesman Matthias Kopp claimed that Germany’s democratic system was based on values it owed to its Christian-Jewish heritage. “Mr Lindner is obviously still not acquainted with the formative strength of the basis of our democracy,” he said.

The Catholic former President of the European Parliament, Hans Gert Pöttering, a member of Mrs Merkel’s CDU, accused Mr Lindner of provoking a Kulturkamp(culture war).

Protect the Pope comment: In November 2010 Chancellor and Christian Democrat leader Angela Merkel publicly acknowledged that Germany’s Judaeo-Christian heritage was the country’s “lead culture”. This discussion of the Christian identity of European nations is a welcome development, over turning the ridiculous air-brushing out of the Christian heritage of Europe in the preamble of the European Constitution.  This development also represents one of the basic goals of Pope Benedict’s pontificate.

Christian  Lindner’s Six secularist Theses are more of the same PC nonsense that attempts to enforce a year zero as if the past 2,000 years had not been formative of the present. Crazy! H/The Tablet
